When I sign up, I am asked for a "MyGCTS ID". I do not have one, what do I do?
The “MyGCTS ID” is what you would like your username to be for the Dimensions of the Faith program. You may create any name to use as your “MyGCTS ID”. For example, you can use your first initial and last name “jsmith” or the username for your email. The “MyGCTS ID” is how you will log into the program in the future.
I just signed up for the program, but I cannot log in. What do I do?
If you signed up for the first time for Dimensions of the Faith, you should be automatically logged into the program. You should be able to check the courses and access all the lectures. If you cannot see anything, try logging out and logging back in. The log-out button is located on the left menu bar on your screen.
How do I download course content?
If you are using a PC, right-click on the file you want to download and choose "save link as..." Once the dialog box opens, save the file in a convenient place on your computer.
If you are using a Mac without a right mouse button, hold the control key on your keyboard and use the mouse to click on the file you wish to download. Choose "save link as..." and save the file to a convenient place on your computer.
What do I do if my quiz score is not being recorded in my account?
There are few steps that you can take if this happens. 1) Take the quiz again by clicking on the link above the quiz where it says "If you have trouble viewing the exam below, please click here" and see if it records the second time, 2) Update your browser by downloading the newest version or 3) Switch your browser to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Some Internet Explorer users have experienced trouble with the Dimensions of the Faith website.
How do I use the discussion boards?
You must be logged in to your myGCTS account to post on the board. If you are not logged in, do that first. You can then access the boards in one of two ways. First, you can access them from your course homepage. Second, you can follow the link in the gray boxes on the left hand column.In order to post on the forum you then choose a discussion topic of interest, click on the topic name to open it, and then hit reply to add your response
- I used to have an account on the older Dimensions of the Faith website, do I have to re-sign up for a new account on this website?
Yes, please create a new profile on the new Dimensions of the Faith website. After you have registered again, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask us to link the information from your old account to the new. Information that we need you to include is your name, old username and your new username.
When my old account and new one is linked, will the progress I made on the old site be linked as well?
Yes, when you provide us with your information and we link your accounts, your quiz scores will be brought over from the old site to the new.
I was listening to the New Testament course by T. David Gordon, but I do not know where to find it online anymore. I only see the New Testament course by Sean McDonough.
We did switch the New Testament course to one led by Sean McDonough. If you would like to complete the New Testament course with T. David Gordon, you may click on the link provided above the list of courses to access the lectures.
Why is the New Testament course by T. David Gordon being replaced?
Dr. Gordon’s lectures were recorded in the early stages of some significant developments in New Testament scholarship, namely the New Perspective on Paul. Dr. McDonough’s course offers a more up-to-date interaction with this perspective.
Who is eligible for the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship?
First-time, incoming students to Gordon-Conwell are eligible for this scholarship if they have completed the Dimensions of the Faith program, have paid their $25 processing fee and received their certificate of completion. If you have already completed a degree at Gordon-Conwell, you are not eligible for this scholarship.
How am I eligible for the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship?
You are eligible for the scholarship once you have listened to all ten Dimensions of the Faith courses, passed all ten online quizzes, and posted a substantial response in each of the ten discussion boards. You must also pay a $25 non-refundable processing fee.
How do I apply for the Dimensions of the Faith certificate?
Once you submit the form requesting the certificate, you must pay the $25 non-refundable processing fee. We will then check your score and let you know if you are eligible for a certificate. If so, we will process your certificate and mail it to you. If you were incorrect in the timing of your request, we will carry over the $25 for the 2nd time you request the certificate. The third time you request the certificate, you must pay the $25 processing fee again.
How much is the scholarship for?
The scholarship is a one-time gift in the amount of up to $1000 to apply toward the first course of your first degree at Gordon-Conwell.
How will the scholarship be applied?
The Dimensions of the Faith scholarship will be applied to the first course the enrolled student takes at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary toward their first masters-level degree. This includes Semlink and on-campus courses.
How may I receive the scholarship?
You may receive the scholarship once you are an accepted and enrolled student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Are the Dimensions of the Faith courses transferrable toward a degree at Gordon-Conwell?
Although these courses serve as an excellent foundation for taking seminary level courses, they are neither accredited nor transferrable toward a degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
I have taken all the courses through the Dimensions of the Faith program; if I enroll at Gordon-Conwell, do I have to take the courses again?
If you enroll at Gordon-Conwell, the Dimensions of the Faith courses do not count toward your degree. You will have to take each of the courses at the seminary level; but you will find that the Dimensions of the Faith courses provide a good head-start in learning the content of the courses.
At which campus may this scholarship be applied?
This scholarship may be applied to your first course at any of the Gordon-Conwell campuses: Hamilton, Boston, Charlotte and Jacksonville.
- May I use the scholarship toward a course of my choosing?
No, the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship will apply to the very first course you take as an enrolled student at Gordon-Conwell toward your first masters-level degree.
What if I withdraw from a course? May I apply the scholarship to another course at the seminary?
No, the scholarship is a one-time offering regardless of your completion of the course. If you fail or withdraw from a course for any reason, the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship cannot be carried over to apply to another course, with no exceptions.

I am an enrolled student at Gordon-Conwell for my first degree, but my course costs less than $1000. Do I get the extra amount of the scholarship applied to my account?
f the cost of your course is less than $1000, the difference between the course and the $1000 scholarship will NOT be applied to your account. The difference is void. For example, if your course costs $900, $900 will be applied to your account, and the extra $100 will be void.
- I am an enrolled student at Gordon-Conwell for my first degree, but my course costs more than $1000. Do I have to pay the difference in the course cost?
If the cost of your course is more than $1000, the difference between the course and the $1000 scholarship is your responsibility to pay. For example, if your course costs $1300, the scholarship will cover $1000 and you will be responsible for paying the $300 difference.
I am an enrolled student at Gordon-Conwell as a first year for my first degree, but just finished the Dimensions of the Faith. Can I take advantage of the scholarship for up to $1000?
Unfortunately, this scholarship is only available to incoming first year students who have not yet taken a course for credit. If you are a current student, or have already taken a course for credit toward a degree, you may take these courses for personal enrichment, but not use it toward the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship.
I just finished a degree at Gordon-Conwell, but am enrolling in another degree. If I finish the Dimensions of the Faith program before I begin the next degree, may I take advantage of the scholarship?
No, the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship is good toward your first masters-level degree at Gordon-Conwell.
I am interested in a doctorate program at or through Gordon-Conwell. Will the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship apply toward my degree?
No, the Dimensions of the Faith scholarship is only applicable toward your first masters-level degree at Gordon-Conwell.
